Any one have one nd if so how do you like it>

Bought one last year at Paducah. Haven't used it yet but I have it in case I want to. Sorry I can't help you.

had a friend who bought one. she is a profilic hand quilter. she said she worked, worked, worked with it to the point of exhauston and then threw it across the room.
Picked it up and tried it and it worked great. I read that it does take some patience and practice. I sometime use a regular thimble with top pounded flat as an underhand guide. |

Aunt Becky is a flat piece of folded metal that you hold in your 'bottom' hand to reflect the needle back up when hand quilting. Clear as mud right?
I have one and haven't been able to get the hang of it yet. I have been using the UnderThimble and I LOVE it. Much easier to work with. Nothing to have to hang on to. With my UltraThimble, UnderThimble and my quilting fingers I can really fly with my hand quilting. Now to heal enough so that I can get back to it. |
AS I remember when I saw it being demonstrated, you have to use very thin batting. I like my batting puff so I didn't get it. It did look very good when the lady was demonstrating.

I got one a while back and can't get the hang of it. I would love to be able to. Maybe it is the lap hoop that I need too.

I don't have an Aunt Becky, but I have a sister Becky!!! Sorry I know thats not what you meant but I couldn't refuse.
