Hi, I'm new here so I don't know how this works. I am new at quilting.............I have attempted a couple and was pleased with the results.
I want to make a crib quilt, but I want it a little different maybe an heirloom type.......I don't know. I wondered if I could maybe get some suggestions or help.
Thank you
Lois1

Hello and welcome from Ontario. If you type baby into the search box you can look at what others have made and maybe you will find your inspiration.

Here is what my DD and I made for her new baby. So bright and cheery

Hmm, what do you mean by "heirloom type"? Classic design, hand quilted? Or something else?

I think LeMoyne stars are really beautiful, and sometime I want to do a LeMoyne star baby quilt in some of the brighter civil war reproduction fabrics. I think it would help me get over my fear of set-in seams, and it would be something different. But then I really love cute, and baby quilts are a great chance to do cute.

Hi from upstate NY. I am making a baby crib size quilt at this time, it's called a Dresden Plate quilt. It is rather time consuming but when it's done it's quite beautiful. Maybe I will try and post a picture of it if I can figure out how.

Guess I got the picture upside down but you get the idea. Hope to have it done by Christmas.
