Snorky Lvs2Quilt 08-20-2011 12:33 PM

Last year I made my DGD a rag quilt. I have a lot of the pretty pink flannels left over and want to make her some baby doll rag quilts. Does anyone have any idea what size they usually are? Would love to make her several but have no clue what size doll quilts are. Thank you for any info you can give me.

Hugs to all,
Diane

Find out what kind of dolls she has, and make it large enough to wrap around the biggest one.
I've never heard of a law that states a doll quilt must be THIS or THAT.
What it must do is make the child love it.

My miss priss would probably tell me that the quilt was "too large" or "too small" for her dolls!! She is already a perfectionist at 4.

depends on the doll, but for most, probably the size of a placemat or smaller would do.

Same here. The B doll quilts I made last year measured about 10 x 14 to fit the doll bed.
