Baby quilt

I GET to make a new baby quilt - for my first grandchild!!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Our daughter and son-in-law just told us tonight!!!

Congrats! We are expecting our 1st in Oct. so baby quilt patterns have been flyin' around my sewing room :)
They do not want to know the baby's sex, so am being kinda neutral at this point. But then I thought I'd better have both a boy and girl quilt to take to the hospital! Let me know what you make. Have a due date yet?

Congratulations.....I like that bumper sticker that says: If I had known grandkids were this much fun I would have had them first......Nothing like that first grandchild..they are all so very special, but to see a part of you going on is awesome...each time, may you be blessed and enjoy waiting for this precious little person...

Due date is in December - they just took the home test on Sunday - and I was just there and left on Saturday... Haiti - she asked us to stay with them until Monday (when we flew out) but we needed to be somewhere else for Saturday, Sunday and Monday... :( - but they skyped us tonight - I do have some peices cut out that she chose a long time ago - we'll see what I end up doing!! I'm excited.

How exciting! Grandkids are so much fun! There are so many patterns, it will be hard to decide...you're probably going to have to make a few quilts! :)
