I have been following your progress and I have to say you have created a masterpiece in a very small amount of time. The quilt is absolutely stunning. I think both colours would make a great border.

I would do a double border, inside black (1 to 4 inch), outside red (twice the black).
Or vice-versa.

Double border. Narrow red and wider black. Love your quilt.

I am sure you will make the right border decision for you. For me, it would be red.
