Bali Wedding Star - Chapter Three
 

Hi, I need help from anyone who has made the Bali Wedding Star Quilt. All of my CMS, CDS, A, B and M pieces are made, but I'm stuck on the instructions in Chapter Three. Did you assemble the Unit blocks before you went to the design wall or did you put all these pieces on the design wall first? I can't tell if you are supposed to put the pieces together according to the diagrams on the bottom of page 12 before you move on the instructions for the Units on page 13 and 14. I'm mixing my colors rather than trying to make the circles the same color.

Yes, you have to follow the directions on the bottom of page 12. Each unit which contains 8 pieces which makes two blocks, will be assembled like shown on this page. Four will have a black side and four one each of the colors as stated or your substituted colors.

I recently made the Bali double wedding ring that's in the Keepsake Quilting catalogue, and you need to follow the directions totally, completely and without changing a step.
