I used it for a 60 x 80 quilt and quilted it with my regular machine. It handled very well and I have no wrinkles so it seems to work with you very well.

Seen some down at Mary Jo's in Gastonia NC it felt silky but was thinner than a low loft and totally different texture.

How does it compare in price to other types of battings?

I used the Bamboo batting in a queen size quilt for my niece. Her husband has allergies and I was told this batting was good for those with allergies. They love the quilt and commented with how warm it is. I also found it to be easy to work with. So that's my three "good" points for Bamboo batting, smile. Bamboo batting is my preference.

I love it! I have used it in many quilts. It is so soft and quilts nicely. I get it on sale at JoAnn's or with a coupon.

I have a pkg of bamboo batting but haven't had the chance to use it yet. Will be interested in the comments. Thanks for asking the question!

I hand quilted my Avatar pic with Bamboo batting and I love it! It needles so nicely and I had no issues with puckering or stretching at all. I can also agree that it's very warm. I sat under that quilt for over a year and a half!! LOL
