I have only used it once before and I started quilting immedialty but this time I cant for a few days. Will the basting spray be all right if I put together the quilt today and not start quilting until Thursday or Friday?

Thanks for you help!

I spray basted a quilt over a year ago and havn't quilted it yet. It is still ok. I show the quilt a lot and handle it a lot and still ready to quilt.

I just used it for the first time and the can said that it was repositionable for up to 2 months. So I am sure that it is okay for a week or so. That reminds me, I need to finish those two too.

Depends on the spray and the humidity. A really humid envirnment will affect how long it stays tacky since it is water soluable. If you are in a humid envirnment put it in a plastic tub till you can get to it.

I have let them sit for months. Even have one I sprayed 3 years ago. Havn't figured out how well it's holding yet though.....
