batting seam tape

Wonder how many others use this product? http://www.joann.com/bosal-1-1-2-bat...prd_10960276a/ I had never heard of it before and in our travels we stopped at a little shop called Brambleberry-your-one stop quilt shop in the little town of Ewen and I bought myself a roll. I see I paid the same price there as Joann's has it for on their site. Today is the first time I've used it, I am enjoying it alot! Usually I zig zag chunks together to get a larger piece, this is so easy. Just thought I'd share in case you hadn't heard of it either.

I've also used it successfully
Alot easier than zig-zaging

I have used that too, after finding out the 2 batting bags I had on my top shelf weren't new bags. It is a knit material and love it!

I use it. I also use strips cut off of yardage of light weight iron on interfacing at times.

It's a fusible tape, you butt the batting chunks next to each other & lay the tape on it & steam iron for 10 seconds to fuse together.

Thank-You will have to try that.

I have just used it on a commissioned quilt. It says it requires poly batting to be effective. I used a press cloth over it before pressing because I DID use poly batting. I have machine quilted over it without being able to tell the difference in thickness, texture, or movement. I'll be using it again for sure.

Actually mine says wool setting for most & silk setting for poly batts. I used warm & natural & followed exactly what the instruction state on the package & it worked like a charm.
