This has just come out over here in the UK its 1-1/2" wide and you can use it to join up all those odd lengths of batting - I have just tried it out and it works beautifully - I hand quilted and had no problem - you iron it on the batting with the edges flush and there is no bulky seam great for these times when we are all - well most of us trying to cut down on what we spend :)

Do you know what brand you got, there are only 2 brands being made right now and one is not that great.
EIther way, you can do your own batting cheaper! Simply get Pellon Light weight fusible interfacing cut into 1 1/2" strips and fuse your batting together! So much cheaper! |

also UK, have had it for a while - I just zigzag mine on the machine and it is fine. |
Hi, our batting tape is the new one from America. It's fab! It's soft so that you don't feel it beneath the quilt top,and easy to sew through. We use it for all the wadding the ends that we get fromt eh ends of rolls. It's great. £6.95 for 10 yards.
