Thanks to everyone for welcomes and ideas for good starting quilter project!

I found two patterns I'm thinking about and would like your input.

1. Single Irish Chain 9 patch
2. a Blue Willow Fat Quarter.

Both look fairly straightforward. Either I can simple with a blue and white color scheme. Any considerations?

Choose the one that most appeals to you! You can do the other second!

My first quilt was the Irish Chain (see my avatar) so of course I am partial to that. I think either one would be good for a first and would look in blue & white.

which one did you like 1st. do that one then when you have more fabics do the other one.

of course the happy dance will follow!
