Recently, there was an article related to a group who make quilts to place on the top of the body bag when one has passed in a nursing home, independent living facility, etc. Does anyone has that link?

Aldajohn, I just tried to find it and didn’t have any luck but remember seeing it – I think this past week.
Retired RN, she made the quilts to cover the bodies of people who had passed at nursing homes or maybe it was assisted living facilities as the bodies were taken out. The residents who live there stare as the body is being taken out so the pretty quilts look nicer than a sheet. I’m not sure but think the quilts then go to the family to let them know that somebody cares about their loved one who passed away – but could be wrong about this part. |
My guild made some for the local hospice. Not sure of the size but the quilts stay at the hospice and are used when bodies leave the hospice. It's better then a body bag to see for the patients
