Best size comic book boards to order???

I'm getting ready to order some comic book boards and would like some feedback on the best size, or what size others are using.

Get the boards for either graphic novels or Golden Age.

I'm saying this from memory .... mine are all packed away or I would measure them up for you. But those are the two largest sizes.

I just got the first ones to come up on Amazon.com when I typed in comic book boards. They were 7 X 10.5 inches. Love them. Coated, heavy enough, acid free. I used 300 in one day. They help so much when putting fabric in bookshelves and even when layered in big totes since they do not come apart or get messy when being moved around or sorted. Be sure and have a big pin for each board or two, one for top and bottom of board. It takes a long pin to go though the fabric.

I also got the 7 x 10.5 inch boards. My local store called them "Silver Age" size. I've almost used up my first hundred and like them a lot!

I get my boards from the comic book store and I usually have to cut them down. I have a lot of fat quaters so I get the large board and cut 4 x 6 1/2 out of them. Don't know if this will help you or not. I use the coated large paper clips. The small part of the clip goes over the top of the board and the large end goes over the fabric. This way I don't have to worry about anything rusting and any kind of holes made by the pins. Good luck. BrendaK

Do any of you have a picture of the boards being used? I haven't quite figured out how you are using them.
