Best thimble I have ever used!

I use a thimble when hand sewing and I have tried them all. I have the .98 thimble to the silver custom made expensive one. I found the Wonder Thimble and it is the best thimble I have ever used. Every guild member that tried it at the last sew day wanted one right then. It's inexpensive too! Anyone have one?

http://quilterslittlehelper.com/thimbles.htm scroll down to the Wonder Thimble. So sad the Diamond thimble is not made anymore. I heard it was great so be on the look out at yard sales for one. No affiliation , I just like the product and wanted to share.

I have that one and it didn't work well for me. However, I don't hand quilt, my hand sewing consists of binding and applique. I push the needle with the side of my finger, and the thimble is too slippery, the needle just slips right off it.

I'm like you, I've tried just about every single thimble out there on the market. My favorites so far have been the leather ones. I gave up on the black thimbles because my needle ends up poking through the seam, but I do like the Clover leather thimble. And I found one in Houston last week, it's a metal half-thimble, gonna give it a try.

I'm glad you found a thimble that works for you!

I push the needle using the bottom of my finger. It was the way I was taught in Home Ec class. No problem with the needle slipping off at all. The most hand sewing I do is bindings. I'm so glad I learned to use a thimble. I cringe when I see someone hand sewing pushing the needle bare fingered. Ouch! LOL
