Is there a black fabric that will stay true black? I made a Asian fabric quilt and the black faded so.

I use Timeless Treasures Super Black. I think it holds its color longer. It's double dyed.

I think so but I don't remember who makes it. Maybe I saw it in Keepsake Quilting or Connecting Threads of Hancocks of Paducah catalogs. I'll look and see. It's supposed to retain its color better than the average black. It will take a minute or two, I'll be back.

Must have been Keepsake Quilting that's the one I can't find and it's not in the other two.

My favorite black is Michael Miller Jet Solid Black.

Every other black looks "off" compared to it, and other colors beautifully POP next to it. It's fabulous!

I like Kona black, it is a true black, and it hasn't faded yet :D:D:D

Thanks for all the advise. I've had that same trouble.
