Blood Sweat and Tears or a new Fad
Yesterday I was quilting with my new Janome Memory Craft. I really have to get use to that start/stop button.
I quilted my finger to the quilt. I never done this. And I have been quilting over 10 years. Right after I quilted my finger I had a hot flash and of course I wanted to cry. And yes I did bleed.; but not on my quilt. Maybe I'm starting a new fad pierced fingers. Oh ya I'm up to date with all my shorts. |

That is one fashion I hope to avoid! I have done it before and do not want a repeat performance. Good luck with your boo boo healing up so you can get back to mastering your new machine.

Never done it. Don't want to do it. OUCH!

Been there, done that - 1951 - White treadle machine. Once was enough. You remember things like this and avoid them in the future.

Ouch, that sounds painful. Glad you didn't bleed on the fabric. But I did get a kick out of you being updated on all your shorts. Typos can be so much fun.

Ouch! So glad you are okay! My grandson was my pedal man as I was trying to get squares sewn together for a Twister Quilt last Friday. He kept telling me to be careful Grammie don't sew your finger too! I didn't and I finally got the squares done. Took a bit longer with his help. But it was so much more fun to have him with me! I did that once and got sick from the initial shock of it. The pain isn't that bad but the shock of what I did was the worst part. I never put my fingers close to the needle anymore. I don't want to do that again.

I've done that once....just once!!!!!!
