Has anyone tried the Wright machine bobbin winder.
The ad shows it winding metal spools. I have flat plastic bobbins for my Huskystar.
Do you know if it would work on them also?

Thanks,

I think there are a couple different ones and work on only certain machine bobbins........try google and see what you get

I don't have the bobbin winder nor do I know anyone who does.
Found it an interesting idea and was tempted, but am holding off.
I wind several bobbins at one time as I use mostly off white thread
or black when needed. My bobbins are plastic.

i looked at this again the other day at jo-anns and i just don't get it (but i did notice there was a metal bobbin on there!). you'd have to take your thread out of your machine to wind it on there and you'd also have to take your project out of your machine to put the newly-wound bobbin in (on my machine anyway).

:?

I think maybe its for doing a bunch of bobbins before you start your project. Some of us use the same color thread over and over, so we might have several spools of it.

I'll just have to check it out further.

Keep it rockin!
