I am one of the people who is usually starting a new project while in the middle of one. This year I have given in completely to this trait. I am working on 10 BOMs at once. After three months I was having trouble keeping track of the different projects, fabrics, patterns, etc. This morning while shopping for sandwich bags, etc at one of the Dollar stores I noticed the tin foil baking pans, the ones with a clear lid, and decided to try them out. I have just finished putting the projects in the pans and think it is going to work out pretty good. I will let you know in a month or two.

I actually gasped out loud when I read that.

So this means January next year you'll be showing off 10 completed quilts???

Good luck with your storage system. It looks like a neat and inexpensive way to keep track of your ten - count them - TEN freaking concurrent BOM projects.

(I count 11 tins.)

Crazy.

I like it. Thanks for sharing.

They are cheaper than the scrapbooking containers. I might have to get some of those containers, too. Thanks for sharing. I only have 4 BOM going, but I have other UFO's and kits.

WOW you definitely like to challenge yourself! Very neat idea!

Just thought of something else, I am always looking for inexpensive ways to do things because that leaves me more money to spend on fabric! And in answer to one of the questions the BOM complete at different times, one is 15 months, one was only 4 months and I have already finished it, I think 2 are 6 months. For a very restless, person who likes to stay busy this seems to be a good solution for me. I live alone, clean when I want to (or not), eat when and what I want, make lots of quilts. What more could I ask for!

Good idea!

Cool idea! I too have several projects going at once...takes the boredom out of only doing one quilt at a time. :0)

I like the idea that you can still see them and they don't get tucked away in a box like some of mine did. (Mental note: Monday Morning, Dollar store.) I think I'll put a month and year date on a label.
