Okay, I have purchased and washed my fabrics for my borders. Do I cut the fabric WOF or LOF for the borders? Thanks.

That depends. If you want to piece it then WOF, if you have enough to do a full length, then LOF.

I'll do LOF as much as I can then. Thanx for the help.

LOF will have less stretch so that is the method I prefer.

I always cut mine WOF. I don't mind pieced borders.

For me, it depends on the pattern!! Stripes especially, I will often cut both ways.

I don't mind pieced borders either... but sometimes the ocd comes out with pattern direction...

either way works........... WOF or LOF if you do piece the border make sure your seams are done on a 45 degree angle seam........ they are less noticable

I don't think which way you cut makes much difference......

just make sure to measure!! the borders before you sew them on
