I have this machine and the frame. I love them both. I tend to take the machine out of the frame for piecing, then return it for quilting. It is a very nice machine, but I wish it had a zigzag stitch. Needing a good second machine so I can leave this one in one place.

Jbug: Glad I am not the only one thinking this way. If I ever do get a frame it seems like the machine is far to heavy to be lifting out of the carriage. Seems like the pricing for a package including the frame and machine is cheaper too.

I have the very same machine. I love it for machine quilting on a table. It's easy to take the housing off and clean and oil myself. I machine quilt using a regular foot with feed dogs down. Much easier then using the walking foot for me.

I don't have it but It is on my wish list. Every review I have ever read about this machine is 100 percent positive. You can't go wrong getting it and the frame with it. That price is the bottom dollar also. I know, I have been checking around. You can use it to quilt with and to piece with also. Go for it!
