I have a friend at Church, that ask if a backing could be put on one of those throws you have a photo put on from walmart. Since I don't know that much about quilting and am just learning all the little things, thought I would ask you ladies. I know from what I read on this board a lot of you ladies know what you are talking about.

The knit ones it could be to do it would be a pain you would need to make sure that you baste very very well because of the stretching but I think it can be done :)

sure, why not? you can put a backing on anything you want. since we use all kinds of different fabrics for backings who is saying you can not use what you want for the top?

Sounds like it would be the same as using fleece to back a cotton quilt top, only you are doing it in reverse. :)
