Does anyone know what the pattern in this picture is? My mom has challenged me to make this pattern for her, but the directions I have are very old and the templates included seem hand drawn. I'd like to find other instructions to compare with what I have, but I don't know where to start!
Also, hi! I'm new here. :) Sarah |
looks like a New York Beauty

It's a New York Beauty. There are several versions of it. It's one of my favorites. It's easiest to make if you do paper piecing. Here is a link

It's the wonderful New York Beauty, my fav pattern. It is a lot of fun.The arc with spikes in it is the only pp part, lf you make a pattern you have to add 1/4 in seam allowances to the large on the concave side, 1/4 to both arcs on the middle piece and a 1/4 seam allowance to the convex lower arc. Then they will fit together easily.
