Cappucinno Bali Pops Needed
Okay my quilting friends, it's my turn to ask for your assistance. I made a queen size quilt out of the cappuccino bali pops and it turned out great. My problem is that my son really likes it and wants a king size one. No problem I say to him. When I go to find bali pops online I find that the cappucinno one has been retired. I have checked my regular stores and have done a search online and cannot find any. Would any of you happen to have some in your stash that you would like to sell? I will be needing 4 of them. Thank you, Judy

This ebay'er might have more than the one listed - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bali-Pops-40...item20c6f02666
Also you might switch to the coconut bali pops - very similar. http://www.keepsakequilting.com/productdetail/5576.htm |

I made a quilt from the cappuccino bali pops and have the coconut bali pops. There isn't that much difference. I buy all the new colors of Bali pops. All the colors of one color way in one package. And they are beautiful on my shelf while waiting to be used.

The coconut pops might be the way to go. They look a bit darker than the cappuccino, which for a guy probably won't be a problem. I doubt he'd notice a difference!

Blue Bamboo has 5 packages - I know, because I traded in a Cappucino for a Zinfandel last week. Their website is www.mybluebamboo.com.

Another possibility might be to collect quarter to half yard pieces and cut them yourself. I may be odd, but I don't mind cutting strips from yardage. When I made a quilt from Cappucino, I added some extra lights and "stashed" some of the darker ones.

We've got the Cocoanut bali-pops in stock, as well as a bunch of the coordinating fabrics that are in them.
The Cappucino sold out pretty fast and are pretty hard to find these days, but the new Cocoanut is very similar. |
Thanks for all everyone's help. I checked blue bamboo this morning and they did not have any listed, I will recheck. Will check the other places also. The coconut strips have a good bit of pink in it and he really liked the yellow, browns in the cappuccino and wanted me to add some green in the border so it would have the earth colors. Again thanks, will keep looking.

Maybe check out Tonga Treats as an alternative? Their salt-n-pepper collection might work for you.
http://www.ttfabrics.net/cgi-bin/fab...634&Page=1&v=1 If you buy 4 or more at FatQuarterShop they're $29.20, which is not bad! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/...02&Parent_Ids= |
Blue Bamboo does not have any in stock. The person on ebay does have 4 she can sell me so looks like that's what I will do. Again, thanks for everyone's assistance. Judy
