Caron: An awesome job in compiling the quetions and answers

Holice 11-21-2010 04:49 PM

I note that each page contains a copyright statement. However on your web page you give permission to share this. Does that include copying and giving to students. If so is that sufficient to satisfy the print shop.

Mind if I ask what you are referring to ?

Sadiemae 11-21-2010 05:00 PM

I don't understand what you are referring to.

Holice 11-21-2010 05:12 PM

I can't find the original post but will keep looking. The post announced that Caron Mosey has compiled a Q&A for Quilters from questions and answers on this board. It is on her web site Brookside Creations. It is an awesome 33 pages alphabetized by subject with name of the person answering indicated.

craftybear 11-21-2010 06:49 PM

do you have the link?

Sadiemae 11-21-2010 07:17 PM

I can't find the topic, but here is the Q&A for quilters.

It won't direct link, but you can copy and paste.

Caron posted this in the Links section today :D:D:D

You just have to remove the "s" from the https://

Sadiemae 11-21-2010 10:15 PM

Thanks, I didn't have enough patience today to figure it out.

cmosey 11-22-2010 03:43 AM

No... you're mistaken. Several quilters from the board gave me questions when I asked. Answers did NOT come from the board, but from individual quilters around the world who contacted me in response to a post on my blog. Let's make this clear: I have not taken posts from this board and copyrighted them.

Can you make copies of this to give to students? You're free to share the entire document with students. This is a FREE document. Just please provide them with the entire document. It might be more economical to send the document to them electronically than print it out... or send the link.

Again, NO MONEY IS BEING MADE FROM THIS PROJECT.

cmosey 11-22-2010 03:45 AM

Thank you, Holice. All I did was match up quilters with questions to quilters with answers. Not everybody has access to quilt guilds or to purchase quilting books. This is just another method of sharing, and the entire document is FREE, FREE, FREE.

AlienQuilter 11-22-2010 05:02 AM

Thank you Caron!

I've bookmarked and also saved a copy. That's quite an undertaking!

Will you be posting when changes/additions are made to it?

Thanks again for sharing with us!

cmosey 11-22-2010 05:04 AM

AlienQuilter, yes, what I posted is Version 1. I will add to it as I get further information and will post it periodically... I'm guessing every 3-4 months until things slow down a bit. It's a "work in progress."

Murphy 11-22-2010 06:37 AM

Thank you.

Did I miss something?? I don't where see anyone even inferred anything, let alone accused you anything...

Holice 11-22-2010 09:12 AM

I was not inferring or accusing....i just hurridedly read the info and assumed it came from the postings here.
So I apologize if i gave the wrong impression.

Whatever, it is an awesome task.

Someone mentioned earlier

"The post announced that Caron Mosey has compiled a Q&A for Quilters from questions and answers on this board."
Just clarifying what took place.
