Any Central Illinois Quilt groups? I need some quilting friends. I am 20 miles south of Decatur.

Deb ... I don't know about any groups but Tink & I are chatting now about getting a meet-and-greet together sometime soon and we'll post details here.

I'm not all that far from you (*far* being relative to the distance one wants to drive - I got to Kalamazoo for lunch sometimes <g>). I'm in Grundy county. Probably about 2 hours from you or slightly less.

I know Decatur has a quilt guild. I know nothing about them. Only what it says on their website. I'm always looking for quilting friends, too, but have not had any luck. The only group in my town meets once a month on a night I have to work.

I keep hoping someone on the board will magically appear near me.

Sorry, I just found your PM. Maybe we can meet somewhere in between at a quilt shop or lunch or something.

I'm in Hillsboro and would love to be involved in any meet and greet that gets set up.

I'm in Springfield. I also have a friend here at work that's not on the board (yet) but is always interested to hear of meet-n-greets, or shop hops, etc.

Not sure where Hillsboro is and I can't run googleearth right now to check. Currently we're looking at northish/centralish area. We're working out the details with plans for an IQS meet and lunch, and perhaps something else.

We will post it here. I'll also try to send PM's to everyone on board who has IL as their location with a link to the post.
