Does anyone have a pattern they have used and like using charm packs. i bought a couple of 5" packs with Christmas fabric and not sure what pattern to use. I haven't done anything before using charm packs.

I made a Disappearing 9 Patch with two charm packs and a few squares cut from other fabric. 5" is a good size for a D9P. Also a Eleanor Burns pattern called "Simply Charming". The Simply Charming one would be a good one for Christmas fabrics. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-98924-1.htm

I have several. Tumbler blocks are quick and easy:

I just spent time at this site this evening looking for baby quilt patterns using charms. Lots of patterns here!

I just looked up the "How Charming" pattern of Eleanor Burns and I really like that one. I think it will be perfect. I Like the disappearing 9 patch one also so will have to try it out some day also. Thanks For your input.

Google 'The Scrappy 4 patch tutorial' and you'll find a great way to use charm packs.

Thanks! I got it ordered.

Sorry about misnaming it. That's what I get for not getting up and looking at the pattern. I imagine it was correctly named somewhere in the post I linked.

It was - that was close enough I got it. I just watched Jenny's tutorial on the scrappy four patch. I like that one too. Will have to get more charm packs for the future. Saves some cutting time.
