When making striped christmas stockings do you think that using approximately 10 to 12 fabrics is too much for 1 1/2" strips? Would you use some of them more than once on one side and not use all of the different fabrics?

I think it depends on what size the stockings are. I myself love tiny stripes of vivid colors, the less brilliant ones I would make slightly larger so the brighter ones would show up better.

Does this look too clashy? Would you use only some of these fabrics or go with all of them? It is from top to tip of toe 16" by 7"

I sometimes add a mostly solid a few times to "settle" the look. I do like what you have picked and think it works fine.

I for one, like your stocking very much - keep going. It's your stocking, do it however you like. I am sure it will turn out great

Ok I have changed this stocking up a little by adding plain green and red fabric with black print and using the rest novelty. Does this seem to look a little better? And also I have used a couple of them more than once. Which one do you like? Do you think one looks better than the other?
