I recently posted about needle threader recommendations; but, nobody responded to my last question about whether the desktop model can handle pearl cotton.
Found a great review for the Clover Embroidery Threader, and was wondering if anybody uses this one. Will be using it for pearl cotton to do wool applique.
Thanks to everyone who responded to my last post.

Nancy,
I sent one to Texasquilts with her FQ's, for an exchange this past winter. If you want to, you might just send her a PM & ask her how it works. I don't have one myself, but have been wanting one. I hope you are able to find out the answer to your question!! Good Luck!!

I haven't used these, but when I Googled I found this:

Clover Desk Needle Threader

One of the best inventions ever! Available in pink, lime green and purple. Place the eye of the needle into the threader, lay the thread across, push the lever down and the needle is threaded! Great for sharps, milliners, and betweens. Use the Clover Embroidery Threader for floss and pearl cotton.
Ref # 4071

It looks as if the desk type will not handle perle cotton, but that the Clover Embroidery Threader will.

Thank you Prism99.....that is just the info I have been hunting for.

Mamaw...I love them!:)They do work and work great...I do have a bit of a problem using really smaller eye needles. We played w/this in class and it actually works! I believe it is Clotilde that has a stand you can buy too w/it...which is a slit in the wood for it to slide into and stay...which would be a good idea too. It works great w/o it though...but, would make a firmer 'sit' if it had that extra base on it. Just my opinion...Skeat

I have one and I love it. I'm not sure if I could go back to threading the "old" way now.
