Comfort quilt question...
I am planning on making comfort quilts for our church members who have lost a loved one. These will be given to my pastor who will see that they go the right person/family. My question is what would you put on the label? (my name will not be on it). I would like it to say something warm and comforting. Any ideas out there? Thanks guys!

I did a quick google search and found these. http://memoryquiltideas.blogspot.com...gs-quotes.html
Maybe a comforting bible verse? http://www.thebiblepost.com/encouraging-bible-verses |
I think that I might label it "The loving arms of God will always comfort you."

How about
With love from your church family at ___________ Church |
I did a comfort quilt for a co-worker with cancer.
"Wrapping you with hugs and prayers" |
All the above are Great suggestions. I was going to also just a simple Bible verse that deals with grief. Loving thing your doing for them. You will be blessed in return.

If you know who the quilt is going to, you may want to put the family name on it or the name of their loved one as well as a phrase or Bible Verse as well as the church family it is from: "In Loving memory of........" That way future generations will know a little bit about the quilt.
