How many of you use any of these programs like Strip Piecing Wizard, 1-2-3 Quilt, Quilt-pro Version 6, etc? Are they worth the cost? I keep seeing them advertised and wonder if they help, work, are easy to operate and navigate. Information from users would be welcome. Thanks.

The only one I've used extensively is Quilt Design Wizard. I recently upgraded to EQ7 which is much more robust. Wizard was easy to learn but did not have all the features. I'm still learning on EQ as it does so much more. I know nothing about the ones you mentioned.

I started with QDW and was immediately hooked on the possibilities and frustrated with its limitations. I upgraded to EQ6 and loved it and upgraded to EQ7 as soon as it became available.

There's quite a learning curve, but it's so much fun and so much more rewarding than playing video games. I'm just as addicted to creating quilts in EQ as I am to sewing them out of fabric. :)
