Computerized Quilting

I am considering a computerized system for my long arm and would like to get feedback from users. First of all, which system do you have, what do you like, dislike about it? Would you buy what you have again? Do you think the system you have was worth the expense. And finally, how easy did you find it to learn and what is your favorite feature? I ask this not knowing how alike in features computerized systems are.

Thank you for any input you can offer. This is a big decision for me with the expense involved when I only quilt for myself.

I have the Qbot with 4qdc software. I really like it. There is a learning curve as with anything. Believe me if I can do it anyone can. There are several good ones out there. Qbot for me was in the price range I was looking for.

My Bernina 830 came with a LA table and I saw I could buy a computerized system for it. It looks wonderful, but it's $5000 just for the system. I already paid $10,500 for the Bernina and the table so I can't afford to buy the computerized system at this time. If I had the money, I would in a heartbeat.

Hi I purchased the pfaff 18.8 with the quilt artist. after working out the bugs I love it its easy to use and works well I just updated the system yesterday and not being really computer literate or a wizard it works so well I am sure I could do more if I had more time to play but I work 40 plus hours a week. I love the precision and ease of how it stitches the learning curve was really good for me I have looked into the intelli quilter but the cost is 15,000. by itself. it will work on the apqs machine but the Pfaff works so well for me I have the apqs at work without the computer. the boss isn't ready to invest another 15,000 yet. The pfaff system is affordable and they have stood behing the machine when ever there has been a problem. Mine was mostly personal errors not mechanical.

I have an ABM Innova 18". I'm not sure what all systems are compatible.
