I probably didn't spell it right, I know how to spell it but it is late and I am tired. I have cordurary fabric and have no idea what to do with it, except to make reusable grogery bags. Does anyone have any suggestions.
Thank You

Pillow, tote, vest, wallhanging, heavy throw...

What type is it...wide wale, narrow wale, alternating, plush?

I have no idea what type it is. I was digging or shopping my stash and found it. Not sure where it came from.

You can cut it into squares or rectangles and make a quilt out of it. It will be too heavy to quilt but cordoroy makes great tied throws, car blankets, picnic quilts, etc. If you do this offset the rows so that you don't have seams that match up, it adds too much bulk.

I am making a utility quilt out of recycled corduroy men's dress pants and jackets, mostly ivory, taupes, browns and black. 8" squares and rectangles. Hope to finish soon will post pics.

Thank you for the suggestions. Am I the only one with a quilting fairy that hides things in my stash. Because some stuff I have I have no idea where it came from.

It is very hard wearing and makes good cushions for kids rooms, bean bags etc, being 100% cotton some corduroys can shrink up, so I would wash first I think, also it has a one way pile so don't forget to factor that into your cutting. I have made really nice picnic or car rugs from it in large squares, backed and tied not quilted tho.

I made a lap rag quilt with a mix of corduroy and flannel blocks. Heavy but very warm. I'll definitely do it again.
