Is cotton theory quilting something I can do on my regular sewing machine? I have a brother xl-3750.

Ooooo... I just googled it. Looks like fun. And based on what I just read, it sounds perfect for and standard table top sewing machine.
|
I'm going to google it now!

It looks very similar to quilt as you go! I have made one of those and it went fast and easy and you can use any machine.

Yes that's how I made my reversible long cabin quilt several years ago.
LOVE IT |
Yes it is. I have made five of the cotton theory quilts -- the largest being a queen -- on a 1980-ish Singer sewing machine with very few problems

Yes you can do it on a regular sewing machine. I teach Cotton Theory at the quilt store I work at. To keep organized make sure that you have labels, and label everything. I label and then stack them together, fronts backs, and batting for each. The time consuming part is the cutting. Once that is done it sews together quickly. We teach the placemats or table runner (from her first book) as a beginning project. Once you get the hang of it you can do any of the projects even from her more advanced second book.
