Probably everyone knows these things, but just in case--when I was at Joann yesterday, the cashier told me that they accept all competitors' coupons--Hancock, Michaels' and Hobby Lobby. Also you can use a combination of coupons--say for example a Joann 50% off one that came to you in the mail and another 50% off one that is included in the newspaper ads, as long as the bar codes are different. Same way with any other of their coupons--just check out the bar codes and make sure they are different on the two you want to use. Easy to compare the codes if you hold them side by side. That way you don't have to go through the checkout line more than once to use a similar coupon.

Thank you.

Our Joann's doesn't honor anyone else's coupons.

Well, that's VERY interesting. You'd think it was a company-wide policy! I'm going to try to contact JoAnn's corporate office and ask them about this!

I think that I saw something like that at Hancock Fabrics.

Yeah Hancock does also. And our LQS nicely will honor the Joann's one with your name on it from the mail flyer for up to 5 yds of fabric or on books or such. A real deal since there isn't a J's within a reasonable drive for me.
