I have decided to sell table runners at craft fairs and I am looking for a unique display that is easy to assemble and light to carry. Any ideas?? Thanks for your help.

If your table is right in front of a wall, I have used a large piece of lattice, like they sell in gardening stores.

I agree with this. And the ones I looked at recently were either white or green, and moulded from heavy plastic. I think they might last quite a while, and weren't that expensive. I'm thinking of nailing them to two posts on my tiny back stoop, and letting vines cover it to help shade the service porch.

I think that if you get two or three square cinder blocks and posts to nail or zip tie the lattice to that would be wonderful, especially if you are not agenst a wall. and you could always offer your neighbor some space if they would like on the opposite side of your wall. makes for great neighbors.

I used to have a 3 panel pegboard display. Each piece of pegboard (you could use lattice too) was framed by wood and and the wood extended on one end to make legs. It was hinged on alternate ends and opened in a zig zag / accordian style. I could hang stuff (I was selling decorative wall fans) on both sides. I'll try to find a picture if you think it's something you'd like to see. Unfortunately, I sold the display when I stopped selling.

Earlier this year I saw table runners at a craft show, and they were displayed on something like three ladders hinged together like a zig zag, as described in the other posts.
Clothes drying racks are another way I've seen small quilted items displayed.

I think the more original and different you can get, the better it will look. Look around your house for something you could use. Start watching at yard sales or thrift stores. Think out of the box. Maybe a bakers rack or folding screen? A little dressing table? Anything that you can lay or drape the runners on might work. Function is important too, but with so much to see, you want your booth to draw the people in.

I've done craft shows for over twenty years and I can tell you that the more interesting and different the booth, the more customers will come in. Once you get them in the booth you can engage them with your charming personalty.

I am going to check out thrift shops this week. You think like I do and I need to draw them in. Thanks for your help. I'll keep you all posted.
