Have any of you used the Cricut machine for cutting fabric appliques?...I've looked around on line a little and it seems like this could be lots of fun but not sure if it would be worth the investment. Do you have any special techniques for attaching the cut outs?

I have one and have used it a couple of times for cutting out appliques. You would need to use a fusible webbing like Heat and Bond on the back. Whereas if you're just doing applique the normal way, you'd use the other stuff (can't think of the name now for the life of me) but it's something Light. *L*.. Anyways, with the cricut, you need more stabilizing than if you're doing it the other way because of the blade. Does this make sense?

Makes sense!! I did a search and found some interesting info about this subject...would love to give it a try but a little pricey "just to see how it would work"!!

My LQS has one set up to try, you might look to see if one in your area is doing that.
