A while back I saw a tut. on here for dissapearing 4 patch, & now when I was looking for it I couldn't find it. I wonder if someone here could help me with it. Thankyou.

Hi Eva, the only one I have is showing how to make pinwheels from 4-patches. It was by Quiltforme.

This morning I was looking at this site and found 29 pages. I looked at most of them, but now it is down to only one? ? ??What I found this morning that I want to look at again is the tutorial on D4P that shows the 4 patch cut diagonally. I can't remember what to do next, since if you cut the block both ways diagonally, you cannot make a pinwheel in the center. ? ? ? How can I get back to the place that had that. I clicked on the link shown above, but that only showed the straight cut version, which I have made, and it's adorable. Can anyone help?

Thanks Peggi, yes that was what I wanted. Sometimes I forget where I am, so if you find me, please point me home! I found out that to make the diagonally cut D4P, you need 2 four patches in different colors. That way you can make the pinwheel by exchanging pieces. What fun!

Hi Leslie, The first time I looked at the one you sent , I didn't look at the whole thing, so now I had a better look at it. That is beautiful with the pinwheel in the center. I just might try that one. Thanks. <<<Eva>>>

Thanks great pattern.
Just wish they would make them printable. Have to draw it out or print a million pages. |
The measurements of the D4P are 8.5 unfinished, when made with 5 inch squares. For the Pinwheel D4P they are a little more than 7.5 unfinished.
Rose Marie, try highlighting the area you want to print, and on the pre-print page, click on "selection" before you click OK or Print. Then it should print only what you have selected. |
Thanks, will try that.
