Disney Embroidery Designs

Does anyone know where I can get disney embroidery designs in jef format. I am looking for winnie the pooh and princesses.

I believe Disney is with Brother. Very limited with copyright allowance for designs. I haven't seen in any other format than Brothers allowed.

Yes Disney is very protective of it's designs. You have to purchase a Brother "D" machine. In otherwords, the model number needs to have a "D" in it indicating it's a disney model. Disney designs are specially digitized to only work in these models, so not all Brothers can stitch out Disney designs.

I agree - my friend tried to open with her Wilcom software but no luck. Very proprietary. Maybe find some one with a Brother who could stitch them out for you?

I can embroider Disney on my Brother Duetta, it uses designs in the .pes format.
I believe the others are correct, only Brother machines can do Disney.

There is a site-http://www.ibroidery.com/-that you can buy disney designs but only in the newer brother machines. i tried to get some for my ULT but it does not use the correct format. i contacted them to ask, no dice.

I would love to purchase products from that site for my Brother 4000D, but they will only sell the designs within the USA. Not very helpful to their European customers!!!!!! Paid £3400.00 for the machine and they won't sell the designs to us.... Go figure!!!!!!

That does not seem fair. i contacted them-I thought I might be able to get them to sell me the designs in PES instead of the newer PEN format. The ULT cannot be upgraded to accept the new format either. A new machine is not an option for me so i won't be buying any more of their designs. i would have bought quite a few, too, because my DD was doing the nursery in Pooh.

WHAT WHAT WHAT....... Have Brother brought out a new format? I was not aware..... Can you give me any more info. I can't afford another £3,400 for a new machine.

i really don't know if they changed the format on the newer machines or if it just the newer machines that can READ .pen, which is the format the ibroidery designs come in. when i found i couldn't use the designs i didn't pursue it further. Perhaps someone else has more info for you.
Caroline, maybe there is something here that can help you.
