I like the candy mints that come in a metal tin. I've found that the little tin with the snap-close lid is perfect for disposing of used sewing machine needles and bent/dull pins. I wrapped a piece of tape around the tin that says "Sharp-Used Needles" so nobody accidentally spills it. It fits in a small area and I don't need to worry about pins/needles poking through my plastic trash bags.

I use one of those too... and I have a prescription bottle that I keep in my EPP box. :D:D:D

I put mine inside tin cans in my trash bin. I don't cut the tops completely off, so with the lid pushed back the chances of them falling out are small. There's usually plenty of other stuff in my trash to keep them from poking out!! :-)

Empty piill bottles seem to abuond in our house at the moment so that's what I use. The tin mint cans are the right size for a healthy serving of almonds! Ya don't wanna get those mixed up!:0)

I use empty film containers, I have one that is labeled Old Needles and I place all of them in there and when it gets full I will pitch them.

I use the smallest Diet Coke bottle. My dr. told me to use a pop bottle for my diabetic needles and testing supplies when I had gestational diabetis so I just continued using them for my sewing.

I use a plastic film container.
