Do you like the Sew Ezi tables?

diane9617 08-26-2011 01:28 PM

I have had mine for about 4 years now and I LOVE it! It is a bit pricey, but well worth it in my opinion. When I bought it I really wasn't sure it was gonna be worth the money, but it is. It has the wheels and the cover that make it so nice to transport. I take it with me to quilt bees, retreats and classes. Love the fact that I have a flat surface to sew on. Putting my machine up on the table just makes it too high for me. I highly recommend it.

I really like mine. I will add inserts for some of my other machined soon. It's easy to move yet sturdy. The bag is a very nice feature.

I got mine at the festival last year. They shipped it to me fairly quickly but I wish I could have taken one home immediately.

Here is a link http://www.seweziusa.com/

I've had mine for about 5 years, and have it next to my horn cabinet, with two Berninas set up in them ready to go. I also take mine to workshops, and as a result of those, two of my friends have bought their own. I have three different inserts now, for different machines, and a plain wooden one to make a basic table. Wouldn't be without it. (no connection to the company)

I've been looking for one to use with my 301...I was considering the Gidget since you can adjust it to fit any machine...I see you all are talking inserts? Could you give some kind of comment on what those are and have you compared to the Gidget

zipit 08-26-2011 03:37 PM

The inserts fit around you machine so you have a totally flat surface. You can also get a clear one to make it a light table or a solid on for just a plain surface.

I have not seen the other table, other than in a video, but I think it looks sturdier.

I've never seen the gidget, but have the sew ez and so glad I do. I love it!!! Highly recommend it to anyone. I use mine at home, since my son was born, that's all I sew on now. Don't want to go back to using a table.

I have a Roberts portable sewing table. I love it! It is the right height for me. I take it to quilt retreats. I move it where ever I want to sew in my house. I purchased the insert that fits my sewing machine. That is extra but well worth it. Go to sewingtableshop.com. They have several to choose from.

I have a larger machine and these tables were only for regular machines. They now have them for the larger machines. If they had come out sooner thats the way I would have gone.
Much cheaper than buying a cabinet with a lift. Mine ran $550. and was really hard to put togather. You need two people to do it.

I have two of the sew Ez tables. One stays in my car trunk to take to classes and sewdays. I like having my own space when I sew. The other one stays in the house. I have inserts that fit all my machines. I bought it for the ease of transporting.
