Hi everyone,
Years ago I bought one while I was in Paducah. I got the longest rails they had b/c I lived in a big house back then. Well, I never used it! We got it out the other day and it's a monster, hahaha But if anyone likes theirs I can have my husband cut it down some. Just not sure how good they are. It's the kind with the 3rd rail so you don't have to baste. I don't think they're in business anymore but I could be wrong. I'm not going to be hand quilting any king size quilts as long as I live LOL But I would use it if anyone says they work nicely. Thanks for any info Sue |
never heard of Zook, I just did some research and they were made in Anderson, Indiana about 30 miles from me
and found this picture of one http://www.illinoishomepage.biz/clas...ssified=133450 |
I remember Zook, but I haven't heard of them lately. Not sure Jasmine is still in business either, which leaves Grace and Hinterberg. I want to buy a no-baste hand quilting frame, too, but am hoping to try them out at a show first.

Thanks, Crafty and Maia. That's what mine looks like.
I got it for much less than that but I think my husband did the finishing work, maybe that's why. I appreciate you surfing! I couldn't find one anywhere :) |
Do you still have your Zook Quilt frame? I have one with shorter rails and wish they were longer. Any interest in selling yours? Unfortunately, we don't live close, so you'd have to figure out postage to 92648 (Calif).
Thanks, I know this is a long shot! chris |
I own a Zook frame....you can go to Home Depot or Lowes and purchase oak hand rails. (used for stair hand rails) they work great.
