My friend wants a Raggy Ann & Andy wallhanging for her newborn granddaughter. I can probably make it if I had directions or she is willing to pay for it to be make.
thanks for reading, turtlerouge |
Maybe you could find a panel of the figures.

How about a coloring page and then add real yarn for the hair?

I would just find an image that she likes and make it into an applique.

I have some patterns that I have of raggy Ann and Andy for the large dolls maybe you could applique or paper piece it from the pattern. I also have the actual fabric of the dolls. I have seen both the pattern and fabric on Ebay

Hi, could you please help me obtain that fabric? I went on ebay just now, & there isn't any found under raggy ann & andy fabrics.
If you have any pattern to go by so I can make the wallhanging, I sure would appreciate it. thanks, turtlerouge chris |
The museum is no longer in Arcola, Illinois. I will have to do some research to see where they moved it. I collect Raggedy Ann's and have a lot. Will see if I have a wallhanging pattern and get back to you if I do.

The important items from the museum have been moved to the Strong Museum of Toys in Rochester, N.Y. I found a web site for Raggedy fabric: www.nebraskaantiques.com. Other Raggedy items at www.Pa.raggedy-american.com. They have one fabric, needlepoint and dolls. The major pattern companies have had Raggedy patterns for years. I do not know what is current but check the Goodwill and such and you should come up with patterns.
