Help. I'm looking for a pattern and the name/creator has completely stumped me. The pattern has pieced cats all over with the opposite in black reversed and up-side down to create an all over pattern of cats. I remember that the printed cat and the black cat had curly tailed that entertwined. I know it is not the "Spinning Cat" pattern. Anybody recall pattern?

Nope, that's not quite it. That's more like spinning cats. In the one I'm looking for, the individual cats look the same as your example but the black areas the same as the printed cats but upside down. Thanks for replying.

I think the pattern is a form of tessellating cats. I've seen it but can't recall exactly where right now.

I have a book called 'Copycat Quilts' by Dawn Navarro. Is that the one you're thinking of??
Here's a link to a pic of the book cover... http://www.martingale-pub.com/store/...roducts_id=647 |
Jinny Beyer has a pattern for one
http://www.jinnybeyer.com/ax_commerc...8C5872842D340D and here's one I found but only a photo, no pattern http://www.reocities.com/williamwcho...f/catquilt.htm |
Thanks BellaBoo. You are absolutely right...the term is "tesselating" cats. Now that I have the right term to search with, I have found some patterns other than those offered by the other members. I so appreciate each and every response to help me find the pattern. Thanks to all who responded :). All suggestions are close but I'll continue to look. If I don't find it, I can certainly now adapt one of the others.
