Local Quilt Shop

vs WalMart, Ben Franklin, JoAnn, Hobby Lobby, etc.

did my first shop hop in Sonoma County, CA. Big mistake. Have to find room for new fabric that I HAD TO HAVE. What fun that was.

curious.... how much fabric do you have??

Loisrhunter 11-08-2009 10:03 AM

how much fabric do you have, and do you still buy more.....even if not on sale....???

I refuse to answer on grounds that the answer WILL incriminate me -

I've slowed down a LOT from what I was doing several years ago -

But that would roughly equate into a five-pack a day smoker down to a pack a week

Well since I work at LQS...I have been accumulating more....trying to use all my scraps and have been sending cuts from "old" stash to people who need it..although wondering if I should get rid of all my wal-mart fabric. I only use that for kids crafts and what not...to make room for "new" stash. I am currently trying to think how I will organize stash for future projects?? whether i do it by size...color...keep scraps from certain projects together for future use? cut it all into certain sizes? or just keep putting them all in a bin and then take the time every year to just clean it out with scrappy projects?
....

so to answer your question my stash is medium size.....I am trying to downsize.....but don't ask about scrapbooking stuff....i think i am addicted to buying.
