I got an idea for a variation on a Double Wedding Ring. Can't show you guys anything, though, because this idea is not easy to transfer onto Paint (stupid curvy lines). The only solution I could think of was to find a colorless pattern layout of the DWR block (like when you make a template of a block in EQ and it shows you what the finished block looks like without any color) and paste that onto Paint and work on it from there. I just can't find something I could work with (why is it I can never find what I'm looking for?). Where might I find what I'm looking for?

I really trust you have a great new thing on mind...
Can't wait to see it....I liked a lot your previous pattern Good luck on your new one  |
I think it's great that you're exploring your own design capabilities. good for you! it's fun AND a great way to "make" quilts when you're low on fabric. who knows? maybe you'll end up selling patterns to others. :P
if you're really serious about it, you should go online and "shop" around among the many free drawing programs out there. paint is very limiting. here's a free program. i've only played in it a little, but i think it might work very well for you once you get the hang of its many features. http://www.inkscape.org/ you might also want to check out the Open Office suite. it has all the same type programs Microsoft Office has but is completely free. http://www.openoffice.org/ |

Thanks for the Link to the drawing program Patrice, I've been thinking of getting Corel Draw, but this might work and the price is much better :P
