I got my kit, it took a whole 3 days to come. Question for those of you who did it before, do I have to follow the pattern to the t??? Or can I embellish it a bit??
6 inch squares, backing fabric, panels this is the pattern this is the entire package, sorry for the camera strap. oops |
I think you can chagne a little bit. But read the entire instructions. The quilt can't have any loops or other things that can get caught on IV polls. And the quilt has to hold up to industrial washing machines.

That one is so cute!
My second kit was shipped today. I should get it Wednesday of next week. Can't wait to see what I get. :-D |
Some variations are fine, if you go to their website, you can read the restrictions and rules for these quilts. There are also a lot of pictures of different quilts that have been sent in to them.
Happy Sewing :D:D:D |
Yours looks like it is going to be cute. Keep us posted and send a pic when you finish.

You have to use their fabric and their backing fabric. Apparently some people were substituting lesser quality backing fabrics. The new kits ask you to send back the packing slip that lists your fabrics.
As to design, I think you can do it different. Just watch the amount of fabric you need-my last kit had fabric that was cut crooked and raveled (is that the right word?) when you handled it. I wouldn't want you to run out of fabric. You got a really cute kit!! |
yea i figured that much janRN. :)
