I searched in the archives but I might not be putting in the right info. but i thought I had found it here on how to make blocks using used dryer sheets. can anyone help here? thanks

I've used them as foundation for strippy blocks. Start in the center or side or corner (for angled stripes).

I use them for turned applique pieces & labels.

I've used them for turning applique blocks under. Lay your applique piece face down on a used dryer sheet & sew around your seam line, slit the dryer sheet and turn your patch right side out. It keeps the fabric from unravelling and poking back out from under. Works for hand & machine applique and doesn't add hardly any bulk so no need to remove it like other methods of turning the seams under require.
