I've made my first Dear Jane block today, which was also my very first try at applique. I did D3 Jason's Jacks with the needle turn method and it came out great.

So now I'm wondering, which Dear Jane blocks are also fairly easy to applique with this method? I want some practice before I try to applique holly leaves on my Christmas Quilt block.

Do you have the Dear Jane software ? If so she has a list built in that lists them as Beginner- Intermediate -Advanced. Also if you scroll down to the bottom of the first post here she has a link to the list

No, I don't have the software. I use the freezer paper on top method for the piecing of the blocks and needle turn applique for the applique blocks, and both of them can be done easily with just the book.

Thanks for the link to the list. It's exactly what I needed!
