I got my old machine out which is a viking 1050 and I am going to Phx on Monday and want to take the Machine to be check out so I can get it fixed for a backup. I called the repair man and told him I cannot remember what the machine was doing when it went bad but I had called and someone told me it must be the computer Chip which was about $400.00. Now I wanted to try it again and guess what. The electrical cord is not with the machine. That is not like me. I will never find it. We have went from carpet to laminated flooring since and I have cleaned out stuff at least 6 times since then. I probably threw it out not finding what it went to. I am so frustrated. Can't believe it is not tucked inside with foot peddle and all. I called the store back and he has a cord to check it out but for me I have to buy a new one and they are about $40.00. I could have bought material or tools or batting. The store is 200 miles rd trip and gas is $2.90 a Gallon.

Be thankful your gas is $2.90 per gal, mine is $3.35. Hopefully its not the chip after all and you will end up paying less. Go on-line and see if you can find one on ebay. I get most of my Janome stuff there for a lot less.
