electric blade sharpener

Just wondering if anyone has bought one and if they are happy with it and if it works like it should. I have been to two Harbor Freights and both have told me they do not carry the blades anymore. Isn't that a "hoot"? And I have noticed that the prices have gone up on them at JoAnn's and quilt shops too. I found a site that re-sharpens them for $3 each, and will try that out after the Holidays.

But am thinking about the electric sharpener too.

Can anyone advise!!!

I have the Truesharp Power Sharpener. My sister gave it to me for my birthday. I think it does an OK job. With the prices of blades, if I can get 2-3 more uses out of each blade then I think it is well worth the money (especially since I use the 60 mm blades).

No, I can't say. I would like to purchase the manual one, though. From talk in another thread it was indicated that the manual sharpener worked better, but I don't know since I don't have one yet.
